Craft Show Success!

My husband and I had the best time showing Smoky Mountain Leaf Works at the Morristown Strawberry Festival last weekend. It was a great first experience. Since I had never really seen anything like my leaf collages or leaf people before, I didn’t know what reaction to expect from visitors and potential buyers. The response was really overwhelming. Here’s what they said (verbatim):

Masterpiece, creative, hilarious, never saw that before, lovely, beautiful, cool idea, precious, nice work, awesome, I’ve never seen anything like this, that’s great, good job, truly unique, pretty neat idea, I like what you’ve done, very ingenious

Judging by the positive responses, I must be on to something. I’m exploring the idea of approaching nearby businesses who support local artists. Researching wholesale and consignment options is proving interesting.

Who would have thought I’d be looking into a craft business at this stage in my life? Definitely not me but I’m loving it!
