Busy, Busy, Busy!

. . . to quote the magician in Frosty the Snowman.

100_3373I’m enjoying my new “real” job but it’s taking some time to get used to being back on my feet constantly. I’ll be in better shape soon if it doesn’t kill me!

AND, I’m gearing up for my first craft show of the 2013 season! I will be exhibiting at the annual Townsend Arts & Crafts Fair in Townsend, Tennessee (the Quiet Side of the Smokies) on May 4 and 5, 2013. I participated last year and thoroughly enjoyed it. This craft show has been going on for more than 30 years and has around 80 vendors. If you’re in the Smoky Mountains area that weekend, be sure to come by. Admission is $1.50 and parking is free.

I ordered a banner for my booth with the Smoky Mountain Leaf Works logo on it and purchased two sturdy 6-foot tables, as well as getting some new business cards. Last year I borrowed tables are but they are no longer available. I had a neat sign I made from a board trimmed from a tree at a sawmill. It is really cool and rustic but is awkward to place in front of the booth – and it is heavy. I may place it on one of the tables as a display piece.

100_3946I’m excited to exhibit my Frame Me! Greeting Cards. I love the idea that they can be used as a card to commemorate a special occasion and then the recipient can frame the card as a lasting memory as wall art!

Keep checking back for information about the Townsend show. I’ll remind you when it gets closer.
